The working visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, to cities and districts of Khatlon region began in Yovon district.
During the visit, a new industrial enterprise was inaugurated at Huajian Gayur Industrial LLC by domestic entrepreneur Akbar Asadullo. The company specializes in the production of Armstrong ceiling panels — a modern and environmentally friendly construction material widely used in interior finishing and highly demanded both in Tajikistan and abroad.
During the presentation of the enterprise, it was reported that the production lines were supplied by leading international companies, while the plant’s projected annual production capacity reaches up to 9 million units. According to market analysis, domestic demand accounts for approximately 3 million units annually, with the remaining production volume intended for export under signed contracts.
The launch of the enterprise created 30 well-paid jobs for local residents. The product range includes more than 150 modern designs, including products manufactured according to individual customer orders.
Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon described the establishment of such enterprises as an important step toward achieving the country’s fourth national strategic goal — accelerated industrialization. It was emphasized that expanding industrial capacity contributes to strengthening the national economy, creating new jobs, increasing export potential, and enhancing the country’s competitiveness.
During the visit, the Head of State also reviewed an exhibition of the company’s products and instructed responsible persons to pay particular attention to maintaining high product quality standards.
It was additionally noted that subsidiary enterprises of the domestic company Gayur Group, with support from state initiatives aimed at private sector development, have constructed five production facilities this year, creating around 600 well-paid jobs.
