Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, together with Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali, visited the Gayur Group Innovation Technology Park in Dushanbe.
During the visit, the second phase of the polypropylene bag manufacturing plant, as well as new printed circuit board and LED lamp production enterprises established by Gayur Group under the leadership of domestic entrepreneur Akbar Asadullo, were officially commissioned.
It was reported that the second phase of polypropylene production operates using advanced industrial technologies supplied by leading global manufacturers. The equipment was delivered by the Austrian company Starlinger and currently represents the only production line of its kind in Central Asia.
It was also recalled that the first phase of the enterprise had previously been inaugurated in 2020 by Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon and Dushanbe Chairman Rustam Emomali.
The second production phase includes additional lines for polypropylene thread production, fabric weaving, lamination, photoprinting, fabric cutting, and installation of automatic valves, providing permanent employment for 140 people. According to future development plans, the workforce is expected to increase to 600 employees.
The enterprise’s production capacity exceeds 70 million polypropylene bags annually, while total supply volumes reach 120 million units. Domestic market demand in industries such as construction, agriculture, and chemicals is fully supplied with innovative AD Star valve bags, reducing dependence on imported packaging products. The remaining production volume is intended for export.
Implementation of next-generation industrial technologies allows the enterprise to operate with minimal waste, while recyclable materials are redirected to other manufacturing facilities for further processing.
In addition to cement bags, Gayur Group also produces polypropylene packaging for flour, food products, and chemical materials according to customer requirements.
All stages of production — from raw material processing to coloring, decoration, and final manufacturing — are fully integrated within the newly established enterprise.
During the visit, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon highly praised the company’s industrial activities and the initiative of domestic entrepreneur Akbar Asadullo, while providing recommendations regarding quality assurance and production of competitive goods.
Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali also officially inaugurated the printed circuit board and LED lamp manufacturing plant and reviewed its production processes.
The enterprise is equipped with advanced technologies and modern industrial systems supplied from the Republic of Korea, the People’s Republic of China, and Japan.
The LED lamp production facility is the only enterprise of its kind in Tajikistan and was established within the framework of the country’s accelerated industrialization strategy.
The production complex includes automated SMT lines for PCB manufacturing, painting systems, LED assembly lines, metal pressing equipment, and plastic component production facilities.
The PCB manufacturing line enables production not only for LED lighting products but also for more than 150 types of electrical equipment, including refrigerators, air conditioners, televisions, surveillance cameras, and electricity meters, creating a foundation for development of related industries.
The establishment of this enterprise enables localized PCBA and LED component manufacturing, positioning Tajikistan among the leading producers of such products in Central Asia.
At the assembly workshop, future projects of Gayur Group were presented, including plans to establish smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, laptop, and surveillance camera manufacturing facilities in Dushanbe with integrated R&D and full production cycles.
Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali also visited the company’s product exhibition, where cement, gypsum board, polypropylene bags, personal hygiene products, and other industrial goods were displayed.
During a meeting with the management of Gayur Group, the Head of State gave instructions regarding efficient utilization of production capacities and creation of new employment opportunities for citizens.
