In Yovon district, Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon laid the foundation stone for the construction of two industrial enterprises specializing in the production of paints, coatings, and thermal insulation materials.
The new facilities are expected to create 150 new jobs for local residents and contribute to the development of the country’s industrial sector.
It was reported that the construction of the two production facilities by Gayur LLC is financed with investments totaling 150 million somoni.
The annual production capacity of the emulsion paint enterprise will reach 150 tons, while the thermal insulation materials plant will produce up to 170 thousand cubic meters of insulation materials annually.
The entrepreneur committed to completing construction of the enterprises with high quality standards and in full compliance with established requirements by 2018.
Following the foundation ceremony, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon officially inaugurated the Hua Jian and Gayur Industrial Ltd gypsum board manufacturing plant.
The enterprise was constructed on an area of 5.2 hectares. Its daily production capacity reaches 10 thousand gypsum board sheets, while annual output exceeds 2.5 million sheets.
More than 200 permanent jobs were created at the enterprise for specialists and workers.
The total investment volume of the constructed industrial facilities exceeds 130 million somoni, equivalent to approximately 18 million US dollars.
It was also noted that the foundation stone for the gypsum board enterprise had originally been laid by President Emomali Rahmon on November 12, 2014.
