









On August 26, 2026, President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, visited Yovon district as part of his working trip to Khatlon Region and commissioned a number of facilities of social and economic importance.
On this day, with the contribution of the management of Gayur Group under the leadership of the company’s founder and head, Akbar Asadullo, three important facilities were put into operation. These projects reflect the company’s continued contribution to industrial development, education, infrastructure improvement, and the creation of new employment opportunities.
One of the key facilities is the new industrial enterprise of Gayur Industrial LLC for the production of burnt lime. The plant was built with an investment of 50 million somoni, has a production capacity of 300 tons per day, and will create 200 permanent jobs.
Another important project is the repair and reconstruction of the Yovon–Vahdat–Nurek highway. The 18-kilometer section of the road was renovated with financing of 20 million somoni, improving transport connectivity and creating more convenient conditions for residents and road users.
In the field of education, Secondary School No. 69 named after Asalullo Ghulom was constructed and commissioned. The school was built for 800 students in two shifts with an investment of 10 million somoni, providing modern learning conditions for children in the district.
These constructive initiatives represent the meaningful contribution of Gayur Group and its leadership to the implementation of the development-oriented policy of Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon. The projects support the growth of industry and education, the improvement of local infrastructure, and the creation of new jobs for the population.
